During my recent visit to Tudor Lodge, I found a solid blend of luxury and value, though it had its ups and downs. The room was spacious, featuring a comfortable bed and a well-furnished sitting area, enhancing the overall experience. I appreciated the modern bathroom and the handy electric kettle for tea, a nice touch for any traveler. The lukewarm shower somewhat marred this luxury feel. Breakfast choices were decent, but the absence of dairy alternatives was a setback, especially after informing the hotel of my allergy upon arrival. The wake-up call for our early checkout due to the Ironman race attendance was managed well, yet the continental breakfast left outside the room was unremarkable. Tudor Lodge offers good value in a lovely location, but I hope to see consistent quality in both facilities and food upon my return.
